Children
and adults are invited to participate in a lively Sunday morning
cross-generational activity.
Get ready for energetic group openings, small group learning,
and amazing growth in faith.
1. Welcome
Time (10:10am):
With K
through 5th graders combined, children will be
greeted at the activity room door into an environment of Bible songs, pictures of
Christian art, friendly smiles and warm hugs and hand shakes
from our caring ministry staff.
2. Large
Group Opening (10:15am):
The Large
Group time begins with our Adult Leaders enthusiastically
leading the opening with singing the Books of the Bible, a Bible
Scripture game, introductions, announcements, a fun countdown
and opening prayer.
3. Large
Group Bible Time (10:30am):
During the
Bible Time our Adult Leaders teach the Bible Story for the day
along with learning it through sign language. Our Adult Leaders
will then teach the context of the Bible verse by using visual
aids. To learn it thoroughly, the children will also sing it.
Our Adult Leaders will end our large group teaching time by
closing in prayer.
4. Small
Group Time (10:30-11:15am)
The children are then broken up by grades into smaller more
intimate groups, with a caring adult leader guiding a specific
group on a regular basis. During this small group time each
small group reviews the Bible story and Bible verse while
creating an art project.
Preschool aged Children
The youngest
children of God gather in the Nursery for an active time of
Bible Story and learning during the same time. Great
child-to-leader ratios make this a very safe, fun, environment
to learn about Jesus.
