Information: Hi, my name is Trudy Kuhlman and I teach Preschool and Music for Preschool through 6th grade here at St. Peters. Since most children love music I use it as a tool in my daily curriculum. The K-6th grade program consists of music history, singing, movement, instrumental accompaniment, composition and theory. I also direct three choirs made up Kindergarten, 1st-3rd and 4th-6th graders.
I graduated from Eau Claire University with a Bachelors of Music Degree K-12. Before coming here I had a variety of musical experiences in teaching and performing as well as having my own day care in my home for several years. I also worked in the business world for many years, but my passion and joy has always been working with children in a strong music environment. In addition to teaching at St. Peters I currently give piano lessons. I feel fortunate and blessed to teach at St. Peters where music is a big part of the curriculum, a powerful tool for interactive learning and a source of worship and praise.
