The Weekly Prayer Project
Week 17: TURN TO JOY
In 2026 we are following "The Weekly Prayer Project" - a challenge to journal, pray, reflect, and connect with God. Discover what God is doing in your life through a Scriptural promise each week. Be sure to pick up a book at the Welcome Center or request one at prayer@stpetersedina.org. Fill out a Connect Card so we know you were with us and can provide answers to questions you may have. Please worship with us again soon.
St. Peter’s Security Team
We’re excited to introduce a new Security Team to help ensure a welcoming and secure environment for everyone during our worship service. Each service will have two trained team members on duty, one in the sanctuary and one in the commons area, who can be easily identified by their orange lanyards. Their presence is simply to provide support and respond if any needs arise, so you can feel comfortable and focused during worship. If you ever need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to them!
Ready to add more prayer every day?
You are invited to spend some time building a richer life of prayer. We will have discussion and encouragement in our prayers around a video teaching by Michael DeFazio, professor of New Testament theology at Ozark Christian College. We will explore how to pray, what to pray, answer questions about prayer, and engage in many other topics surrounding prayer in order to expand your knowledge of communicating with our Father.
This week: 12 RULES FOR HEARING GOD
Grab some coffee and a treat and join us about 10:45am after worship in the Discipleship Room just to the right as you leave the sanctuary. All are welcome.
Contribute in the Basket, Online, or by Mail
We encourage you to join us in the excitement of generous giving and watch what God is doing in our community and around the world. There is a basket just inside the main entryway if you would like to contribute - go to the giving options on the website by clicking the button below. Perhaps you want to support our ongoing ministry, give to the Mission Fund, or specifically help with the Facility Fund, the Gym Fund, or the Raise the Roof Campaign. Wherever and however and whenever you give, you will partner with God to bless others.
Together we meet families at the intersection of faith and real life.
Godly Homes are…
filled with joy even in the midst of sadness.
“…weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.” – Psalm 30:5
We love it when you worship with us!
Your life is full. When you can’t worship in person, be sure to view the weekly message on the St Peter’s-Edina YouTube channel.
May we add you to our weekly email list so that you get a reminder with a link and the weekly announcements as well?
The Chosen Season 1
You have been to the place of the cross and the empty tomb. Join a group of men and women who follow Jesus from the very beginning of His ministry in a dramatic way! Starting with Season 1 of “The Chosen” you will read the Bible sections in the Old and New Testament where it all began.
Wednesday mornings at 10:00am in the Discipleship Room at St. Peter’s. Everything is provided - even a little curiousity! You have been chosen!
Trinity First Installs Pastor Nathan Schultz
On April 9, Pastor Mark participated in the installation of Trinity First’s new campus pastor, Nathan Schultz. Nathan served in St. Louis County and is excited about connecting with the students and families of the Phillips neighborhood. His favorite question: “Who’s Next?” Who is next to read in worship? Who is the next student leader? Who will join him on a walk down the street to make new friends? May the Spirit provide a fruit producing ministry in the years ahead.

We filled the bottles!
Thank you for your support of Cradle of Hope. We have raised $853 and many bags of hand-knit blankets and outfits for the babies and families! Tina announced: “I'm so proud of our church!”
Cradle of Hope encourages and supports life by providing financial aid to women and babies in crisis, especially those women who might not choose life because of financial pressures.
Here is one note received by the ministry: We would like to thank you so much for the special baby crib. We are so very grateful for the gift. It’s a big help for us.
St. Peter’s helped make that possible! Thank you.
What is Jesus doing around you?
Ready to inspire and encourage others? Jesus is writing a story every day. Tell about what the Lord is doing around you. Did someone ask you a faith question? Did you have an opportunity to show love to a neighbor or a friend? It can be something huge or something very small. A random act of kindness that you were prompted to do? A discussion with a stranger? Share the story. When you do, your Christian friends will be motivated and ready to watch for what Jesus is doing in their lives too. He is up to something right now!!!
Use the online form by clicking the button below. You and the person you have in mind can be anonymous. We would love to hear about it.
