No Words

Did you realize the Holy Spirit even intercedes for us when we don’t know how to pray for ourselves? When your’re too tired, too sad, too angry, or too confused, the Holy Spirit is interceding for us “with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” (Romans 8:26-27) What a gift we have in the Holy Spirit. Maybe you are currently facing one of those times. If you have no words, we’d love to pray for you - please connect with us for more support:

The Weekly Prayer Project

Week 20: NO WORDS

In 2026 we are following "The Weekly Prayer Project" - a challenge to journal, pray, reflect, and connect with God. Discover what God is doing in your life through a Scriptural promise each week. Be sure to pick up a book at the Welcome Center or request one at prayer@stpetersedina.org.

Fill out a Connect Card so we know you were with us and can provide answers to questions you may have. Please worship with us again soon.

Godly Homes…

where we pray for one another.

“The Spirit helps us in our weakness.” Romans 8:26

St. Peter’s is praying for our family of faith because your home is located at the intersection of faith and real life.

The Power of Prayer

Moms carry a lot, including the pressure to get everything right. But Tamera Mowry-Housely shares that what matters most isn’t perfection. It is easy for moms to get overwhelemed - and for Kids to have no words. Prayer is such a powerful tool in raising children - and parents too!

Whether you’re a mom, love a mom, or want to grow in faith check it out:

Have questions about prayer?

You are invited to spend some time building a richer life of prayer. After worship on Sunday morning, we have a discussion and encouragement for your prayer life around a video teaching by Michael DeFazio, professor of New Testament theology at Ozark Christian College. We will explore how to pray, what to pray, answer questions about prayer, and engage in many other topics surrounding prayer in order to expand your knowledge of communicating with our Father.

Next Session on June 7: More Questions About Prayer

Grab some coffee and a treat and join us at 10:45am after worship in the Discipleship Room just to the right as you leave the sanctuary. All are welcome.

GENESIS

Summer is a great time to start at the beginning. We’d like to invite all men to join us every Friday for just an hour, 7:30-8:30am. We are still in the first few verses of Genesis. Bring your questions, prepare to see the story from before time began, and be challenged to see if it makes a difference in the way you live.

Contact Lowell (612-875-4185) if you want to receive a copy of the book we will use to guide our study. It is massive so you will want to start reading. We move fast. We dig deep. We apply what we learn in practical ways. There is a place for you at the table - and a donut.

We love it when you worship with us!

Your life is full. When you can’t worship in person, be sure to view the weekly message on the St Peter’s-Edina YouTube channel.

May we add you to our weekly email list so that you get a reminder with a link and the weekly announcements as well?

Contribute in the Basket, Online, or by Mail

God is generous in grace, prayer, and providing for all our needs. Would you like to be part of something God sized? There is a basket just inside the main entryway if you would like to contribute - go to the giving options on the website by clicking the button below. Perhaps you want to support our ongoing ministry, give to the Mission Fund, or specifically help with the Facility Fund, the Gym Fund, or the Raise the Roof Campaign. Wherever and however and whenever you give, you will partner with God to bless others.

Together we meet families at the intersection of faith and real life.
