When People Pray
What happens when people pray? Try it and see. We have seen answers to prayer at St. Peter’s again and again. Ready to find out in your own home?
The Weekly Prayer Project
Week 22: WHEN PEOPLE PRAY
In 2026 we are following "The Weekly Prayer Project" - a challenge to journal, pray, reflect, and connect with God. Discover what God is doing in your life through a Scriptural promise each week. Be sure to pick up a book at the Welcome Center or request one at prayer@stpetersedina.org.
Fill out a Connect Card so we know you were with us and can provide answers to questions you may have. Please worship with us again soon.
Alone or Together?
You are invited to spend some time building a richer life of prayer. After worship on Sunday morning, we have a discussion and encouragement for your prayer life around a video teaching by Michael DeFazio, professor of New Testament theology at Ozark Christian College. We will explore how to pray, what to pray, answer questions about prayer, and engage in many other topics surrounding prayer in order to expand your knowledge of communicating with our Father.
Last Session today, June 13: Prayer Alone and Together
Grab some coffee and a treat and join us at 10:45am after worship in the Discipleship Room just to the right as you leave the sanctuary. All are welcome.
Father’s Day - June 21
Let's change this trend.
Mother’s Day: “Let’s go to church for Mom.”
Father’s Day: “Let’s give Dad a break.”
We hope to see you and the dads in your life in worship next week. What an honor to see man who step up in the battle for the family. Men, your presence matters. Imagine a generation of spiritual fathers leading the way in faith and worship. LINK Twin Cities is rewriting that chart. We thank God for Dads and for this ministry.
This Father’s Day, thank you to every dad, every mentor, every man giving himself to this work in Jesus’ name.
Godly Homes…
where prayers are offered at other times than just at meals!
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." Ephesians 6:18 (NIV):
St. Peter’s is praying for our family of faith because your home is located at the intersection of faith and real life.
Voter’s Assembly June 21
It is the time of year when we look forward to our next ministry year! The Staff and Board of Directors have been preparing the Annual Ministry Plan and the Budget to accomplish it. We have seen God’s blessing on our Ministry year after year and know God has great things in store for us as we meet families at the intersection of faith and real life.
Please join us for the Voters’ Assembly at 11:00 on Sunday, June 21. We will briefly report on this past fiscal year and celebrate our progress on paying down the roof loan. We look forward to sharing where God is directing us to invest our efforts in 2026-2027.
The Lord’s Supper
This month, we will celebrate Holy Communion on June 7 and June 28. The consecration of the elements has been entrusted to those trained and called to serve among us. Pastor is in Taipei to attend the Rotary International as one of his final responsibilities as Rotary District Governor over the past 12 months. Plus… he will be worshiping with Jamie Grimm on Sunday. Jamie is in Taiwan for 4 years!
Join us next week at the Altar!
Fall Pre-K Openings
We are excited to offer a few openings in our Pre-K program this fall! If you know a family who may be interested in enrolling their child, please forward our enrollment website:
Enjoy a burger and My Burger will donate a dollar toward our facility
Join us for our next fundraiser night at My Burger in Edina. A portion of each purchase will go toward St. Peter’s facility improvements. We visit a restaurant every couple of months for some time together with other STP families along with a delicious dining experience. Pick up a card on the Event wall with more details. It will remind you of the June 30 dinner event.
We love it when you worship with us!
Your life is full. When you can’t worship in person, be sure to view the weekly message on the St Peter’s-Edina YouTube channel.
May we add you to our weekly email list so that you get a reminder with a link and the weekly announcements as well?
