Confess and Pray

I shouldn’t have.
I wish I hadn’t.
It was wrong.
I feel horrible.
It’s been weighing on my mind.

Why do those thoughts go through our minds so often?  Today, we want to help you take these types of statements from your thinking to your words.  Because, when you do… you will feel better and find freedom. Confess and pray.

The Weekly Prayer Project

Week 28: CONFESS & PRAY

In 2026 we are following "The Weekly Prayer Project" - a challenge to journal, pray, reflect, and connect with God. Discover what God is doing in your life through a Scriptural promise each week. Be sure to pick up a book at the Welcome Center or request one at prayer@stpetersedina.org.

Fill out a Connect Card so we know you were with us and can provide answers to questions you may have. Please worship with us again soon.

Godly Homes…

where Summer is a time of excitement and wonder.

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1

St. Peter’s is praying for our family of faith because your home is located at the intersection of faith and real life.

May your home be filled with God’s presence and power every day!

This is a pivotal time for our Nation!

"If My people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

When a nation is divided, to whom can we turn? Perfectly timed for our Nation’s 250th Anniversary, If My People is a prayer guide that will help you seek God’s blessing and guidance for the future of our country. Pastor Mark will lead us during the Sunday Bible Study time at 10:45am through the Sundays leading up to the showing of A Great Awakening on Sunday, July 26. Please join us. Our Nation needs your prayers!

Movie Screening & Prayer for our Nation

A Great Awakening is a 2026 historical drama depicting the unlikely friendship between preacher George Whitefield and Benjamin Franklin during the first Great Awakening. As the colonies teeter on collapse, Whitefield’s sermons stir a generation and Franklin realizes liberty must be awakened in the hearts of the people. With epic scale and period authenticity, it offers stirring themes of faith and freedom—likely to appeal to history enthusiasts and fans of inspirational dramas.

Join others Sunday, July 26 at 10:45am for a viewing of the movie in the Theatre Room of St. Peter’s and enjoy a brunch together. A fitting conclusion to the study and prayer guide for our Nation.

War Room Screening & Brunch

The Jordans seemingly have it all - great jobs, a beautiful daughter, their dream home. But appearances can be deceiving. In reality, their marriage has become a war zone and their daughter is collateral damage. But with the help of Miss Clara, an older, wiser woman, Elizabeth discovers she can start fighting for her family instead of against them. With her newly energized faith, Elizabeth’s real enemy doesn’t have a prayer.

Join us on Sunday, August 2 after worship for brunch, followed by the showing of War Room - Prayer is a Powerful Weapon, downstairs in the St. Peter’s Theatre Room.

The movie lasts 120 minutes. Then the following 5 weeks, beginning August 9, our Sunday Bible Class will include short clips from the movie and discussion of challenging Scriptural lessons about the power of prayer.
