Greeting and Announcements
Righteous Faith
Pastor: “And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.”
All: We stand in the righteousness God gives, not the righteousness we earn.
(Romans 3:22)
Pastor: “No one will be justified by works of the law, for the law brings awareness of sin.”
All: We confess our need for a Savior and trust in Christ alone.

Pastor: “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
All: We walk in the footsteps of faith, trusting God’s promises.

Scripture Reading
Titus 3:1-8 (NIV) - Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
STP KIDS Dismissal
STP KIDS is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Older children are welcome to participate as helpers. Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!

Romans 4:3 (ESV) - For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness."
Righteousness is not earned – it is given.
Titus 3:4-7 (NIV) - But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. Apostles Creed
All: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
