Curiosity
Pastor: The Bible highlights the importance of loving our neighbors. Love is at the core of living out our faith.

Pastor: Showing kindness is a vital aspect of how we relate to our neighbors. It is our calling as Christians to demonstrate love through action.

Scripture Reading
James 2:14-18 (NIV) - What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. STP KIDS Dismissal
STP KIDS is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Older children are welcome to participate as helpers. Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!

The Second Petition
Pastor: As we accept the invitation to “Join Jesus on His Mission” we are taught to pray: “Thy kingdom come.” What does this mean?
All: The kingdom of God certainly comes by itself without our prayer, but we pray in this petition that it may come to us also.
Pastor: How does God’s kingdom come?
All: God’s kingdom comes when our heavenly Father gives us His Holy Spirit so that by His grace we believe His holy Word and lead godly lives here in time and there in eternity.
