Today we give thanks and honor to God for our land.

Glory, glory, Halleluia! His truth is marching on.

The Weekly Prayer Project

Week 24: PRAYING SACRIFICIALLY

In 2026 we are following "The Weekly Prayer Project" - a challenge to journal, pray, reflect, and connect with God. Discover what God is doing in your life through a Scriptural promise each week. Be sure to pick up a book at the Welcome Center or request one at prayer@stpetersedina.org.

Fill out a Connect Card so we know you were with us and can provide answers to questions you may have. Please worship with us again soon.

Godly Homes…

where respect for God and the government are found.

“Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king.” — 1 Peter 2:17

St. Peter’s is praying for our family of faith because your home is located at the intersection of faith and real life.

Enjoy the 4th with family and neighbors!

No St. Peter’s Worship July 5

America’s 250th! This will be a big celebration year. St. Peter’s will have a special patriotic celebration on June 28th the weekend before the holiday. The 4th is on Saturday. With the expectation of big celebrations, family gatherings and travel, we are encouraging people to be present in their communities / with their families. We will send everyone out with a document with suggestions of how to join Jesus on His mission and show love to your neighbors in America. The Weekly Prayer Project theme that week is “Let Love Abound”. St. Peter’s will not gather for Sunday worship on July 5. Members can use their Prayer Project journal for some personal outdoor worship time and we will prepare a video message for your use that weekend. Enjoy a parade, go for a boat ride, listen to a concert, take in some fireworks, fire up the grill, and Let Love Abound! (That is our Weekly Prayer Project theme for Independence Day weekend.)

This is a pivotal time for our Nation!

"If My people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

When a nation is divided, to whom can we turn? Perfectly timed for our Nation’s 250th Anniversary, If My People is a prayer guide that will help you seek God’s blessing and guidance for the future of our country. Pastor Mark will lead us during the Sunday Bible Study time at 10:45am beginning next Sunday, June 28 through the Sundays in July. Please join us. Our Nation needs your prayers!

Enjoy a burger and My Burger will donate a dollar toward our facility

Join us for our next fundraiser night at My Burger in Edina. A portion of each purchase will go toward St. Peter’s facility improvements. We visit a restaurant every couple of months for some time together with other STP families along with a delicious dining experience. Pick up a card on the Event wall with more details. It will remind you of the June 30 dinner event.

Pick up a Complimentary Devotion Book for the Summer

Portals of Prayer has been around almost for as long as our country! Pick up the July-September edition.

Hope-Full Living is a daily devotional for living life to the fullest. It has daily devotions written by everyday church members from around the country.

Pick up one or both - great for early morning, mid-day, bedtime. They are located on the Welcome Center. Going paper-free? Online versions are also available.

Independence Day Hours

We are encouraging everyone to spend time with your neighbors for America’s 250th Birthday. Both the church office and the ECEC will be closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, July 3-6.

Next Sunday there will be no in-person service. Enjoy the 250th together with family and friends! We will send tools to help you show love to your neighbors. There will also be a video message from St. Peter's to share.

May God bless the U.S.A.!

War Room Screening & Brunch

The Jordans seemingly have it all - great jobs, a beautiful daughter, their dream home. But appearances can be deceiving. In reality, their marriage has become a war zone and their daughter is collateral damage. But with the help of Miss Clara, an older, wiser woman, Elizabeth discovers she can start fighting for her family instead of against them. With her newly energized faith, Elizabeth’s real enemy doesn’t have a prayer.

Join us on Sunday, August 2 after worship for brunch, followed by the showing of War Room - Prayer is a Powerful Weapon, downstairs in the St. Peter’s Theatre Room.

The movie lasts 120 minutes. Then the following 5 weeks, beginning August 9, our Sunday Bible Class will include short clips from the movie and discussion of challenging Scriptural lessons about the power of prayer.
