Invocation
Pastor: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Apostles Creed
All: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Ask in Faith
Pastor: Scripture declares, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.” (James 1:5)
All: We come asking, trusting in the generosity of our God.
Pastor: “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt.” (James 1:6)
All: Lord, strengthen our faith as we seek Your wisdom.
Pastor: “Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you great and hidden things you have not known.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
All: We call upon You, confident in Your wisdom and Your care.
Pastor: Jesus said, “If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7)
All: Fill our minds with Your words and wisdom.
Pastor: Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find.” (Matthew 7:7)
All: We believe Your promises and rest in Your faithfulness.
Pastor: Today, we ask in faith as children of God. Amen.

Scripture Reading
James 1:2-6 (NIV) - Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. STP KIDS Dismissal
STP KIDS is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Older children are welcome to participate as helpers. Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!
