Jesus invites you to follow Him. And my guess is that you have been working on what that means in your life.
Today, Jesus invites you to join Him on His mission. It is HIS mission. We are invited to join Jesus. Jesus doesn't want you to just sit in a church building and learn - He is sending you to participate.
Sent
Pastor: In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

All: We too have been sent on a mission by Jesus.
Pastor: The Lord now chose seventy-two other disciples and sent them ahead in pairs to all the towns and places he planned to visit. (Luke 10:1 NLT)
All: Jesus invites us to join Him on His mission.
Pastor: These were his instructions to them: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields." (Luke 10:2 NLT)
All: Lord Jesus, send more workers - and send me!

Scripture Reading
Luke 9:1-6 (NIV) - When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He told them: “Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt. Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town. If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.
STP KIDS Dismissal
STP KIDS is the Children’s Ministry at St. Peter’s Edina, designed for all children from 6 months to 10 years old (Grade 5). Older children are welcome to participate as helpers. Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom mission and impact their world for Jesus!
